Which telco best value for heavy data user in Klang Valley?

I stream a lot and work from home sometimes tether hotspot. Currently on a plan paying RM80 keep hitting limit. Looking for unlimited or high quota under RM100. Celcom, Maxis, Digi, Yes or the MVNOs like Yoodo? Real coverage experience please.

Klang Valley coverage most of the big ones okay lah, the difference shows more when you balik kampung. For heavy data under RM100, the CelcomDigi unlimited plans decent, I use it WFH tether whole day no issue. Yes 5G very cheap for data (unlimited some plans) and 5G speed power in KL, BUT their 4G fallback weaker in some spots and inside buildings sometimes drop. Yoodo (Celcom network) is flexible, customise your plan, good value. My honest pick: if you in KL city and got 5G phone, Yes gives best data-per-ringgit. If you travel around a lot, CelcomDigi safer. Try a prepaid SIM first to test coverage at your house and office before commit postpaid.

Check the fine print on "unlimited" - a lot got FUP (fair usage) where after certain GB they throttle you to snail speed. Read the T&C. I got burned by one plan that slowed to 128kbps after 100GB, basically useless for streaming after that.

If you WFH a lot, honestly consider getting home fibre (unifi/Maxis/TIME) for the heavy stuff and a cheaper mobile plan for outside. Tethering all day drains battery and mobile data pricier. My combo: TIME fibre RM99 + cheap RM35 mobile plan = way better than one expensive mobile plan.

Yoodo user here 2 years, best part is I add-on data only when I need, and their app senang. Runs on Celcom tower so coverage solid in KL. Cheaper than mainline postpaid. Recommend for people who want control over what they pay.
