EA Form

Employment

The EA Form (Borang EA) is a yearly statement an employer must give each employee, summarising the previous year's income and deductions. It lists gross salary, bonuses, allowances, benefits-in-kind, EPF and SOCSO contributions, and any monthly tax deductions (PCB/MTD). Employees use it to complete their annual income tax return with LHDN. Employers must issue the EA Form by the end of February each year, even to workers who have left. It is not submitted to LHDN directly but kept as supporting proof of the figures declared. Filing deadlines and required details are subject to the latest rules.
