Panel Clinic

Healthcare

A panel clinic is a private clinic that has an arrangement with an employer or insurer to treat their employees or members, usually without the patient paying upfront. Companies appoint panel clinics so staff can see a doctor for common illnesses and get medical certificates, with the bill sent to the employer. There may be limits on covered treatments or a per-visit cap. Employees typically must use listed panel clinics to enjoy free treatment; going elsewhere may mean paying and claiming later, if allowed. Panel lists and coverage limits are set by the employer or insurer and subject to the latest rules.
